苏州碑刻技艺有了首个留学生实习基地

The first Suzhou stone tablet inscription practice base for overseas students was inaugurated at Suzhou Museum of Inscribed Stone Tablets on July 16.

After the inaugural ceremony, some overseas students and their children visited the museum, listened to a lecture on Suzhou stone tablet inscription craftsmanship, and watched video about rubbing-making for stone tablet inscription. They also experienced the whole process of making rubbings from stone tablets under teachers’ guidance.

The time-honored craftsmanship was listed as the first batch of intangible cultural heritages of Jiangsu province in 2007.
